In this video, I unpack the three most dangerous ones I hear all the time: “that can wait until phase two,” “AI is our core strategy,” and “we’ll go live on X date or else.” Each one signals a lack of readiness, clarity, or realism. Phase two usually means “we didn’t plan this right.” Declaring AI as a strategy without a real business use case is like saying electricity is your business model. And go-live dates mean nothing if you haven’t tested or trained your people. A successful implementation is not about sticking to an arbitrary date or chasing buzzwords. It is about building measurable, well-scoped strategies that actually work.
